Our Heritage
Located on the southern hillsides of the Montagne de Reims, Champagne Cochut has been welcoming you for four generations at the family estate in Tauxières-Mutry.
Originally marketed under his father Louis' name, Max Cochut began producing his own Champagne in 1972. In 1990, with the creation of its own production site, it became a Récoltant-Manipulant Champagne, ensuring full control over every stage of winemaking.
With over 20 hectares cultivated in the heart of Champagne, the estate is now run by Max’s children and grandchildren, who work together daily to uphold the family legacy.

Our Identity
In the heart of the Montagne de Reims, our House passionately cultivates 23 hectares of vineyards in Grand and Premier Cru terroirs.
True to its origins, it proudly showcases Pinot Noir, a noble and delicate grape variety that defines the identity of our "Heritage" collection. Aged on lees for an average of eight years, these cuvées unveil exceptional finesse and complexity.
With the "Inspiration" collection, we celebrate the lightness and elegance of champagnes crafted to elevate life’s most memorable moments. Their extended aging process ensures a perfect balance between freshness and aromatic intensity.
